That evening we had some free time in the city of Santiago itself. It was getting dark quickly, but there was still time to wander down the colorful streets, fend off the aggressive hustlers and make some new friends. I popped my head into this strange old bookstore, walls lined floor to ceiling with all sorts of papers and memorabilia, and found three cheerful gentlemen perched comfortable on a set of back stairs serenading the passersby.
