Dominoes

There is a little doubt that the national game of Cuba is dominoes (of course the national sport is baseball). Everywhere we went we saw people on porches, in cramped living rooms, or out on the street playing dominoes. These particular gentleman were amused by my attention and tried to get me to play a hand, but I didn’t know the rules and wasn’t sure my long-faded college Spanish was up to that kind of instruction.
