More propaganda painted on the side of a Viñales grocery store. CDRs are the smallest political unit in Cuba, something like a neighborhood association. Although my understanding of their role is somewhat fuzzy, they seem primarily involved with education, neighborhood maintenance and maintaining readiness to defend against imperialist invaders (hmmmmm…I wonder who that could be).
