Mogotes
Viñales Valley
Cuba
December 9, 2003
One of the few landscape shots I managed to get. The Viñales Valley of western Cuba is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the country, with good reason. The bright red soil and the lush greenery of the best tobacco plants in Cuba are set off against the distinctive mogotes, huge limestone karst formations riddled with beautiful caves.
